
Ingredients
- Lamb shanks
- Capsicums red green orange
- Button mushrooms
- Sweet soy sauce
- Rice
- Herbs – Marjoram,Rosemary, sage the strong herbs as may flame
Will need a good hand full of herbs
Instructions
- Lamb shanks
Put in plastic bag and cover with sweet soy sauce. Massage meat put in fridge.
( I usually marinate overnight) - Heat BBQ so is hot, place herbs on grill side of BBQ place lamb shanks on top
Cover with baking dish. - Let it smoke away turning to get flavour.
( you may get flames, so keep an eye on meat turning to sear each side) - In a warm oven bake shanks for about 30 minutes. Or cooked to your liking.
- Cook capsicum and mushrooms on BBQ
- At same time cook rice ( I use rice cooker)
- Let lamb shanks rest bast them with liquid.
- Plate
Make a circle with rice, arrange capsicum and mushrooms.
Sit lamb shank in middle
Drizzle with liquid from lamb shanks - Enjoy
