We (David & Cushla Leatherby) purchased Normanby Butchery in January 2022. It was a well established business run by Mike and Kay LePine for 27 years prior.
We are Taranaki born and bred and have four children: Tane, Tessa, Tawera and Dezmond.
David has come from a farming background. He was always interested in butchery and hunting. He was given the opportunity with Al and Sandy which progressed to the ownership of Normanby Butchery.
Cushla works behind the scenes for the company while also working at Ngati Ruanui Healthcare as a Nurse Practitioner.
Our aim is to provide high quality New Zealand meat to suit all budgets.
We have a wide range of products and can cater to all your specific requests with exceptional service.
We provide a homekill service as well and can process your own animal in whatever manner you wish.
We are also active members in our community seeking to do our part to improve and enhance in whatever way we can.
